“It’s a Cake-Pop”

If you’ve ever tried {and failed} at a craft project, then you can appreciate this post over at CourtneyWinetDesigns.

Her post talks about when good crafts turn bad after the false-advertising of many fellow-bloggers sell a project as “simple”. 3 hours later and 8 lbs of plaster later {like the above “easy” project on “how to make your own wall letter” that she and I attempted for the baby’s room} you’re not left with a project to be proud of….you’re left with a “cake-pop.”

For a definition of a “cake-pop”, read up! Luckily she has MANY more projects that turned out amazing and weren’t “cake-pops.” Like I told her, we can’t always be pretty, with a winning personality, AND A+ art projects. Other girls would be haters then.
